Not too much of a flower person, but I couldn't help but record this one. It is a beauty. This was taken on my day excursion to Innis Gardens and The Hoover Dam (the Ohio version.)

I had a fun day and ended up with some great shots.

Other than that life is good. Isn't too much going on or anything important to share.

No work tomorrow... how wonderful...

Since there is some crazy kid screaming/singing at 4am I have decided to blog. I am not sure what else I should do at this time in the morning. This is quite typical as I left the evening festivities early tonight so as to be rested tomorrow. The joys of urban living.

Regardless, this picture is stolen from my dads collection of shots on his trip to Ireland/England for his mothers funeral a month or two ago. I thought it to be quite a classic Ireland shot. Rather comforting.

project.

Friday seems to be going slowly as I sit here at my desk. I have dinner plans @ 7pm which I am thrilled about and time seems to be moving backwards. All I can think about is eating mussles. Mmmmm....

Good news is that another project is out of the office for it's CD Review. This means that in the last three weeks I have put out six projects total. The amount of work has been more than normal. Next week should be fun as it involves a trip to OU (the ridges), pre-bid meeting at OU and measuring of a truly historical building. This means little office time. Phew.

Hopefully at dinner tonight I can get some good pictures to post on flickr as I am now a 'Pro'-fessional user. Fun fun.....

With the safe return of a security deposit I put on a placed I lived over a year ago I rewarded myself with this.

The pro account it finally mine as I bombard myself and others with more 2d images and propaganda. The joy of technology.

I also just posted quite a few new photos. Enjoy.

crunch.

No I am not talking about the cleveland soccer team.

I am talking about a Cadbury's crunch which I am currently eating with a cup of coffee. My parents brought back an assortment of wonderful chocolate/sweets from the UK. Mmmmm... i have more at home including, fruit pastilles and a flake.

American chocolate never quite hits the spot as much as a 'true' cadbury's chocolate bar does.

yummy.

slow.

Just learned that Kylie has cancer and had to cancel her current tour. How awful!

I listened to her latest CD on the ride into work today in honor of her wonderful pop-tistry. The woman is a genius when it comes to cheesy, catchy beats. I am a true fan who has followed her since her beginning as Charlene on Neighbors and her duets with Jason Donovan.

Anyone remember "I should be so lucky, lucky lucky lucky, I should be so lucky in love.." How wonderfully catchy and annoying that one was!

Regardless, I hope that she makes a full recovery and is able to even penetrate the US with a couple of performaces. Columbus maybe?

words.

I started this entry as a quick analysis on the state of the lesbo community today in this world - specifically - Columbus. (Yes, I did watch the L Word last night.) I then realized that this post got rather rediculious and I stopped.

Be thankful for that. :)

Instead I recommend a new CD. It's called 'High Society' by High Contrast. It includes some AMAZING break-beat and drum and bass stuff. If you ever need music to keep you going check out High Contrast.

I wish I had more to write - as I know that this blog is getting boring at the moment - but I really do not want to fill it with my rants about the world. That can be even more boring...

If you ever need some great, chill, easy to listen to, motivating music - check out Ulrich Schnauss. Great german musician.

Additionally - I am a beer snob and Heineken rocks. (Graphic Design included.)

Joe and I did it last night. We had a photo shoot in the bathtub of all places. We eneded up with some great shots that scared us (more me than him) as to the alter egos that are hidden within. Apparently I can look trampy and I have a large sexy side hidden. Who knew! Regardless - it was a fun time and I am pleased with the outcome.

I am also falling more in love with flickr everyday.

precipice.

It is Friday and I am on the precipice of the weeks end. It is beautiful outside and all I can think about is running out of the office into freedom - this freedom would be such as laying in a park, buying a new digital camera (yes, I know i shouldn't think about this) and driving with some drum and bass blaring out the windows.

I want to leave......

I was quite productive this morning and am now lacking the drive to continue. I spent all morning drawing details... oooohhh.. exciting I know.. they look cool though. Maybe i'll post them later.

Today is a perfect ice-cream day - tummy ache or not!

Hard to explain, but beautiful. I also enjoy the subtle color relationships in the picture.

Oh italia!

refreshers.

I am back from the rugged outdoors with many life changing experiences such as squatting to pee, lugging bales of hay up a hill and not showering for days. I loved it very much as a result of great down time to read and write as well as time to chat with the other guests. I must admit there is something great about finding your place in the world through nature. Not everything revolves around big business - there is actually an eco-system out there if you choose to find it. I feel like I just reread Ishmael. Additionlly found it interesting to be a lone traveler. I quite enjoy it yet there is an added sense of pressure to entertain others. I find it quite easy to slip into interospective mode.

Had a great Thai dinner at a friends house last night with the girls. I think that pretty much everytime I hang out with them I have a great time and last night was another. The one frustrating thing about hanging out is that they are all in relationships and I end up being the only single one there. Granted many of the girls are 5-10 years older than myself - it is still frustrating. As much as I lean towards not wanting a relationship I wouldn't mind some cuddling here and there.

Regardless, spring is here and I am enjoying that within itself. (When it doesn't rain of course.)
